Special Education Consulting
Our special education services focus on advocating for the rights of individuals with disabilities in the community and in their education. We believe that students with disabilities should receive a free and appropriate education that meets their needs. We are available for IEP review, consultation services, IEP meeting appearance and advocacy, and Independent Vocational and Transitional Evaluations . We conduct independent living assessments and vocational evaluations for successful community integration. Our services are for individuals and parents concerned with the academic, social success, and independent living functioning in the community.
Our services aim to improve the social, vocational, academic, and independent living skills of an individual in order for a successful and full integration into adulthood to occur. We provide services on behalf of attorneys, parents, individuals and school districts.
We conduct Independent Educational Evaluations.
An Independent Education Evaluation is an evaluation conducted by a qualified examiner who is not employed by the public agency responsible for the education of the child in question.
The process includes:
- The process of gathering information and identifying a student's strengths and educational needs
- Reviewing data used to make decisions regarding a student’s eligibility for special education and IEP needs.
