Ticket to Work

Individuals who receive Social Security benefits because of a disability and are age 18 through 64 probably already qualify for the program. The Ticket to Work Program is a good fit for people who want to improve their earning potential and are committed to preparing for long-term success in the workplace. Services to beneficiaries are free of charge. This service is provided nationwide.

Career (Vocational) Counseling

Need a career change, recently laid off, or are you unhappy with the job you have. We at Vocational and Rehabilitation Consultants is here to help. We provide vocational services to individuals with and without disabilities, youth, and veterans. We can assist you with identifying a career interest that is compatible with you and assists with job placement. This service is provided nationwide.

Special Education Consulting

Services are for individuals concerned with the academic, social success, and independent living of youth and young adults. Services are provided to address the concerns of parents about their child's future. We conduct Individual Education Evaluations.

Community Integration

Our Community Integration Adult Program aims to assist individuals with disabilities to become productive and included in the community alongside those without disabilities. Our services will help develop confidence, self-advocacy, and independence. More and more youth and adults are requiring services beyond the school years and this program is to help those who need coaching, mentoring, guidance, and whose social skills needs further developing.

Forensic Vocational Consulting

Our services to the legal community are to assist with vocational evaluations, individualized assessment, and case reviews in order to prepare you for upcoming court hearings. Dr. Singleton is a forensic vocational expert with the Social Security Administration and has provided vocational expert testimony nationwide. We provide vocational consulting services in expert witnessing, workers compensation cases, social security disability, and personal injury.

Educational Workshops

Do you need a guest speaker who can educate your staff about the current trends and practice in the rehabilitation field? Dr. Sabrina Singleton has the academic knowledge and practical experience in the rehabilitation and disability field. She has several years of experience as a state rehabilitation counselor as an independent living and vocational rehabilitation. She has experience with speaking in front of large and small groups and can provide professional development opportunities on a range of topics including but not limited to transition services, independent living, and counseling practices for successful case outcomes. Dr. Singleton is an adjunct professor at Assumption College and has previously taught at Jackson State University. She is available for half-day or full-day training. Our Service Approach

We use a holistic service approach when we work with our clients. We involve our clients in the process by allowing them to participate in the process, help make decisions regarding their outcomes, and with the guidance they make the final decisions regarding their employment future. Additionally, Vocational and Rehabilitation Consultants uses a collaborative approach in which we work with other agencies within the community including the Department of Rehabilitation Services, public and private school entities, employers, and local businesses.

Ticket to Work Services are free of charge to beneficiaries.
